Nick Clegg wins broadcasted debate

Summary

The very first political debate in the UK has been held on TV. The leaders of the three political parties in the Government of the United Kingdom, Nick Clegg for the Liberal Democrats, David Cameron for the Conservative Party and Prime Minister Gordon Brown for the Labour Party, defended their statements. During the discussion several subjects and aspects of the party leaders were introduced and defended. The victory of the debate went to the leader of the Liberal Democrats, Nick Clegg, with within minutes 61 percent of the viewers votes, as he used the broadcast efficiently with a devastating effect.

Opinion

After reading the article and watching the debate, I think it is fair that Nick Clegg won the debate. David Cameron and Prime Minister Gordon Brown were more trying to make their statements look good instead of really debate with each other. While on the other hand Nick Clegg did debate with the other two and used the debate very efficiently for his progress in the elections. The Liberal Democrats have been watching the political whole from the sideline more than the other parties, and after this debate I think Nick Clegg has a large advantage on the other two party leaders. We will see what happens when the Liberal Democrats seize the power in the United Kingdom!
